At VM Concept Interior Design Studio, great design begins with communication. As the client describes a vision, idea, photograph or memory, Principal Valérie Marcus, IIDA, and her team listen for the feelings these inspirations evoke as much as for the details. Because while some clients may know exactly what they want in their office or luxury-home design, many others need to experience the journey of understanding how space, mood and lifestyle connect and intersect.

Valérie and her team express that symbiotic relationship in the most artistic of ways. From planning the nuts-and-bolts aspects of a custom home or office remodel, to sourcing antiques and accessories for décor, VM Concept relies on its extensive experience and creative process to give form to each idea. And Valérie makes a point of communicating that process back to the client. In this collaborative spirit, Valérie provides both hand-drawn and computer-crafted imagery to express her interpretation of the client's vision. Together, they embark on a visual voyage of inspiration through sketches, photographs, fabric swatches, paint samples, shopping trips and more, all in an effort to create a customized space where the details align in perfect harmony.
